When I finished the puff quilt, I made Will a ribbon blanket, (we call them but-tag blankets because the ribbons look like the little tags on the bottoms of stuffed animals-the babies love to play with them!) I used the really soft eyelash fur on one side and plush polar fleece on the other side (I love this turtle fabric!) and all kinds of ribbons to match. I have made several of these little blankets, they are sooo soft and the babies love them, as well as the older kids (including my teenagers, who take the babies blankets away from them!) They wash up just wonderfully too! Evie’s fell out of the stroller one day at the zoo and got drug through the mud under the wheel of the stroller before anyone noticed it and her mom thought it was ruined but it came out like new with just a regular wash! They are a really nice quick gift to make if you love to give handmade things like I do. You can even do machine embroidery on the fleece side to personalize them.My next project is going to be window treatments for Evie’s bedroom! I will post pictures when I get them done!
